Healthy Seniors for Christ:
A balanced diet and regular exercise are strongly linked to better health outcomes in seniors. A series of routine screening tests and preventive measures are recommended for the elderly. Important preventive measures at home can improve the safety and health of seniors. Words of Faith AME Healthy Seniors for Christ Ministry is lead by Sister LeDeadra Long. It’s centered around breathing, walking and chair exercises for Seniors.
Our Goals:
- To improve respiratory health
- Help clear the lungs of toxins and pollutants.
- Increase energy by improving the oxygen levels in the lungs.
- Sit comfortably in a chair.
- Exercise outside in the fresh air whenever we can
- Establish and maintain support for a healthy lifestyle and encourage wellness
- Improve the health, well-being and quality of life of seniors
- Empower seniors to promote and model positive attitudes and behaviors through a lifelong commitment to wellness.
- Build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, and facilitate personal growth for the Kingdom of God
