WORDS OF FAITH (LIMITED) RE-OPENING JUNE 21, 2020! NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS
“COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions, i.e., persons who are morbidly obese, diabetic, suffer with chronic lung issues, moderate to severe asthma, serious heart conditions, chronic kidney disease, liver disease and immunocompromised (cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow, organ transplant, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS or other immune deficiencies) are especially vulnerable.”
“BY ENTERING WORDS OF FAITH AME CHURCH, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS TO EXPOSURE TO COVID-19.”
You can be assured that WORDS OF FAITH AME CHURCH is proactively exercising all the precautions and safety measures as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the safety of our members and visitors.
Due to the restrictions necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be limiting the number of people physically assembling at the church until further notice. Monitor this website or contact the church for additional details. In addition to the (limited) re-opening of Words of Faith for the Sunday Worship Service, we will continue to conduct services online: Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday Noonday Bible Study at 12:00 noon, and Wednesday Family Unity Night (FUN) Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. Please access our events calendar and monitor the church’s social media, including email, for details. You may also access some of the services via direct link from this website.
We encourage you to continue to worship with, check on, and pray with and for one another, using available technology to do so. (Words of Faith AME Church does not promote or discourage in-person visiting outside of church activities.) Also pray for our leaders, first responders, medical personnel, and those that have been personally touched by this disease. Our hope remains in God, from which cometh our help.
Finally, we thank you for your continued financial support, and ask God’s blessings upon you for your faithfulness. You may give by mail (Words of Faith AMEC, P.O. Box 859, Mableton, GA 30126); by texting “Give” to 706-705-7938; or by the Give Online button on this website.
